MySpace may be getting a major facelift. CNET is reporting that sources say the social networking site is going to deliver on Rupert Murdoch’s promise to turn the site into a major entertainment hub by streaming a wide range of full-length movies, TV shows and music videos.
MySpace, which already offers some videos with the help of sister site Hulu.com, is going to use the new video era to re-brand itself and make it much more attractive to advertisers.
Murdoch’s News Corp. owns MySpace and a big portion of Hulu.
CNET couldn’t determine whether the site would charge for the videos or offer it free to its customers.
