12/23, 26-27: Two friends of StandUpCincy, Ryan Singer and Dave Waite, are co-headlining Christmas weekend at Go Bananas in Montgomery, OH. To say that we’re excited is a mild understatement. Go check out two of the area’s finest comics, with a host who’s pretty darn funny in her own right, Nickey Winkelman. For those who have been asking, the poster advertising Ryan and Dave’s show was created by a graphic designer (and all-around swell roommate) named Tom Bolton.

12/28: Congratulations, you survived Christmas! What better way to celebrate than with an evening of hilarious comedy from the cast of Underbelly? The 2009 Afterbirth Ball brings comedy to Leapin Lizard Gallery in Covington, KY for the first time in the relatively new venue’s short history. It’s an evening of stand-up, sketches and improv with a seasonal twist. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and bring your holiday horror stories. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are a measly $7. See you at Leapin Lizard on the Monday after Christmas!
