Before I really get to say anything I just want to mention this morning I accidentally crushed an Advil with my teeth. Goodbye, old appeal of bright red painkillers.
So Evan’s always talking about how wonderful Stumbleupon is, and so I decided to finally check it out for myself. Now I’m hooked. It’s much better than continually visiting the same domains over and over again, and I’m extremely pleased with the amount of Photoshop tutorials I can now explore. Most of the time I visited www.goodtutorials.com and it was either a hit or a miss for me. With a huge number of actually promising webs, I can improve what I know to a far larger extent.
Some sites that I’ve tabbed for now:
SU – 11 Great Photoshop Photo Effects Tutorials | Design Shard
SU – Tutorial Magazine – 33 Best Photoshop Tutorials of April 2009
SU – 41 Nicest Photoshop Photo Effects [Photoshop Tutorials] | Photoshop Tutorials
One more great thing about Stumbleupon are the hilarity videos – you would NOT believe how long I laughed at this!

Let’s see… some housekeeping. Speaking of housekeeping, how many people are pleased to see Natalie Tran finally making videos every couple of days? And I don’t know how she does it, but it’s still a riot to watch. The first time I really started watching her was approximately just before I started work at the PNE, so I have a feeling most of my behavior probably stemmed from viewing one too many communitychannel videos. Thanks.
Today I’ll be heading to one of my favorite places to study, which is the Langara Library. I don’t know why I visit it so often. It’s so damn cozy and beautiful. Just a pain in the ass to walk to…
